Why Zeneno
Why would I pick Zeneno over other AI tools?
Zeneno handles the development cycle so you do not have to guide every decision. You do not need a perfect prompt, a phased build strategy, or the technical knowledge to manage an AI agent. Outline the app you want, and Zeneno plans, builds, tests, and debugs against your requirements. Its workflow is designed to catch missing features, keep work within your scope, and handle retries and fixes without constant prompting. Once the build starts, you can close the tab and let it work in the background. This reduces the time you spend directing an agent or troubleshooting code and makes a complete web app accessible with less friction.
Cost
Is it expensive?
No. Hearing '30 hours and multiple agents' might make it sound expensive, but that actually works in Zeneno's favor. It spreads the work across agents, so one agent isn't trying to carry the whole app in its head. With a single agent, the conversation keeps growing, and sending that history with every response can get very expensive, very quickly. Zeneno works as a system, with each agent focused on its part of the job, instead of relying on one premium agent to do everything. This is also why it only builds web apps. We've refined it to do one job and do it well. That makes it cost efficient relative to what it delivers.
Fit
What kinds of products is Zeneno best for?
Zeneno is strongest on SaaS products, dashboards, admin tools, internal workflows, data-backed apps, and web applications with real frontend and backend needs. It is not meant for games, inappropriate sites, mockups, demo apps, or tasks outside building a full web app.
Build runs
How long can an autonomous build take?
Builds often take several hours, depending on the complexity of your request. A small app might take around 5 hours, while a large, complex app could take 30 hours or more. These are examples, not fixed timelines. Zeneno uses that time to work through your requirements, test the app, and fix issues. Long runs are normal, and your build continues in the background if you close the tab.
Ownership
Who owns the code and infrastructure?
You own everything Zeneno builds for you. Exporting your source code is intentionally simple, so you can take your app and host it elsewhere whenever you choose. You are free to move to another platform without being locked into Zeneno infrastructure.
Follow-up work
Can I make changes after the first build?
Yes. Use Agent Mode for questions, fixes, UI polish, and focused follow-up changes to the existing app.
Build runs
Can I change direction during a build?
Once an autonomous run starts, it is committed to the plan it is executing. During the build you mostly see action messages as Zeneno reads, edits, tests, debugs, and deploys. Changes are requested after the run completes. Always give your request careful consideration before starting a build.
Infrastructure
Do I need to bring my own API keys?
No. Bringing your own provider keys is optional. Zeneno can host your app and provide its database, file storage, and AI services so you can get started without setting up separate provider accounts. You can connect your own accounts if you prefer. Apps that accept payments still need your Stripe keys.
Billing
Can I cancel?
Yes. Open Manage billing in your account to cancel through Stripe. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period. You keep your unused credits and can still export your source code. Hosting usage continues to draw from your credits, and resources in your own provider accounts remain under your control.
